Madhya Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be held online by the Department of Public Health and Medical Education (DME). The DME is responsible for admissions into the MBBS and BDS programs in various private and government medical colleges. The seats for NEET UG are distributed through All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota, where 85% seats are reserved for the state government and 15% seats are reserved for AIQ. MP NEET 2025 registration will start online, and candidates are required to submit their details. Counselling for the MP NEET UG occurs in multiple rounds. 

The NEET 2025 exam was held on May 4, 2025, and the expected result date for the NEET is June 14, 2025 (Tentative). After the declaration of the NEET 2025 result, MP NEET UG counselling will begin tentatively in July 2025. The NEET result 2025 is a mandatory aspect for MP NEET UG registration. DME is responsible for the seat allotment matrix, which includes the number of institutes along with the seats available for the General and reserved categories. MP NEET UG Counselling Eligibility Criteria 

For the MP State Counselling NEET UG 2025, candidates are required to meet specific eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the MP NEET UG are set by DME.

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% (40% for reserved category) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as a core subject. 

  • The minimum and maximum ages of the candidates must be 17 years and 25 years, respectively. 5-year relaxation for reserved category candidates. 

  • MP domicile students can apply for the private and government college seats, while non-domicile students can apply only for management quota seats.

    NEET UG Counselling 2025 Important Notes

    • Designated authorities of the state government are responsible for the counselling for admission to the seats under the State Governments, UT Administrations, and State Universities. 

    • The reservation of the seats in the medical colleges for respective categories shall be governed by the laws prevailing in the State/Union Territory. 

    • 10% of the seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Section(EWS) for every course, 14%, 16% and 20% seats are reserved for the OBC, SC and ST candidates, respectively. 

    • The result of NEET UG 2025 may be utilized by other entities of the Central and State Governments. 

    • The seat allotted to students by MCC in Round 2 will be forfeited if they do not accept the seats. 

    MP NEET UG Counselling Fees 

    MP NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be conducted by DME, following the declaration of the NEET UG 2025 result. During the registration and the seat allotment process, candidates are required to pay the MP NEET UG 2025 Counselling fee. The registration fee for the MP NEET UG 2025 Counselling is INR 1000 (Non-refundable) for UR Candidates and INR 500 (Non-refundable) for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates. Along with the counselling fee, candidates are required to pay a security deposit, which is refundable if the candidates do not take admission. Candidates are required to stay vigilant during the MP NEET UG Counselling Fee to avoid any issues.  

    MP NEET UG Counselling Procedure

    MP NEET UG Counselling is conducted by the DME, soon after the declaration of the NEET Exam 2025 result. Students are required to register for the MP NEET UG 2025 in online mode on the official website. Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG 2025 to register for the seat allotment process. Here is the step-by-step process for the MP NEET UG Counselling 2025 registration

    • Registration: Candidates are requested to visit the official website of DME and register themselves. Provide the personal and NEET UG details, and also upload the necessary documents. 

    • Choice Filling: Candidates must fill the colleges and courses as per their preferences. 

    • Seat Allotment: Based on the NEET UG 2025 score and seat availability, candidates are allotted seats in the medical colleges. 

    • Confirmation of admission: Candidates must report to the designated institute to confirm their admission. 

    • Document Verification: Verification of the documents is the last step; students are required to carry the original documents, along with the attested copies, to the allotted institute. 

    MP NEET UG Counselling Round 1 

    Candidates are required to register online on the official website of DME to initiate MP NEET UG Counselling Round 1. MP NEET UG Counselling Round 1 will be conducted online. The online registration start date for the MP NEET UG Counselling Round 1 is 12 August 2025 (Tentatively), and the last date of payment is 20 August 2025 (Tentatively). Merit list for the MP NEET UG for round 1 is scheduled to be released on 29 August 2025 (Tentatively). Candidates are required to carry the necessary documents with them during the counselling rounds.   

    MP NEET UG Counselling Round 2 

    The Round 2 counselling for the MP NEET UG is scheduled to begin on 12 September 2025 (Tentatively). Candidates are required to report to the reporting centre with a provisional allotment order of Round 2.     MP NEET UG Counselling Mop-up Round 

    The Mop-up round in the NEET UG is the final opportunity for the students who have missed being part of the Counselling Round 1 and Round 2. The Mop-up round for the MP NEET UG is expected to start on October 10 2025 (Tentatively). The last date for editing the online application form for the MP NEET UG Mop-up round is scheduled to be on 14 October 2025 (Tentatively). During the Mop-up round, candidates are required to carry important documents like NEET Scorecard, admit card, 10 and 12 marksheets, domicile certificates, caste certificates, etc. Publication of the MP NEET UG Counselling round is expected to be on 18 October 2025 (Tentatively). Mop-up round in the NEET UG is crucial for the candidates who have missed opportunities in the Round 1 & 2 Counselling.     Stray Vacancy Round 

    Stray Vacancy Round is the final round of counselling for the MP NEET UG 2025. The stray round is conducted for those seats which have remained unfilled after Round 1 & 2 and the Mop-up counselling round. Colleges release the vacant seats, and eligible candidates may apply directly to the colleges. The NEET score is a must for the seat allotment during the stray vacancy round. The expected date for the MP NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round is 30 October 2025 to 2 November 2025 (Tentative). The stray vacancy round is necessary for the students who have missed earlier opportunities in the previous rounds.
